Like the 24˝ ( 610 mm ) adapter base system, the 30-48˝ ( 762 mm – 1219 mm ) system is ideal for work in areas that require regular set-up and tear-down and where a base can be permanently affixed to an existing structure. This system consists of a davit arm, mast retrieval device and adapter base. Including all the benefits of the 24˝ ( 610 mm ) system, this larger system is easily positioned in 30˝ ( 762 mm ), 36˝ ( 914 mm ) and 48˝ ( 1219 mm ) reach. This greater versatility offers a solution where other systems are not viable. The davit arm is equipped with a 5,000 lb. ( 2268 kg ) anchor point. Typical applications include anywhere greater reach is needed, including, but not limited to, bridge decking, water and sewer facilities and entry into large basins.

Certifications
Xtirpa™ systems are certified in accordance to the new EN 795:2012 standard, with a static test requirement of 12 kN, unlike the previous EN 795:1996 which foresaw 10 kN.
